Frequencies In Friendship
A synchronous channSpiration

The thesaurus of friendship flashed synchronously in both of these minds and hearts, and they gave in; drawing with colourful words on their screens at the same time the feelings and treasures of unison that lead us to “ours” instead of “mine”. An invisible line connected their moments of inspiration. They vibrated almost the same way; frequencies in coordination.
This poem was inspired by a synchronous ChannSpiration…
A few hours ago, I published a post on Instagram, commenting on the beautiful energies that I exchanged with specific friends while I was in a beautiful Greek island that’s called “Corfu”.
A few hours later, David Rudder, a writer that’s been a Medium friend of mine since my early days here (almost three years now, I think), published a poem that vibrated at the same frequency… (By the way, thank you for your constant support, Mr Rudder!)
Here’s my Instagram post:
“Fellowships Shape History,” Dionysis Savvopoulos sings. Groups, companies, and fellowships certainly shape history. And the history they create doesn’t have to be world-famous to be significant. The world’s wheels are turned not only by actions in the spotlight. The human race leaves its mark not only through what becomes widely known.
Each individual (which is a miniature universe governed by the same laws) and every association of individuals contributes to the collective impact.
In this spherical battlefield of evolution that we traverse together, there are times when fellow travelers resonate harmoniously, even though they are not exactly alike. (Thank goodness! Otherwise, how would they inspire each other to develop what they haven’t yet discovered and need?)
Aristotle said that someone who can live apart from human societies is either a beast or a god. We haven’t become gods yet, and we aren’t entirely beasts. So, we need these connections with each other to navigate the internal battles for our growth and the advancement of our species. (No one accomplishes anything in isolation, as we often believe…)
I believe that anyone who never spends time alone is not leading a balanced life. Similarly, anyone who only isolates themselves is also not leading a balanced life. We need the GOLDEN RATIO.
I was part of such a company in Corfu (Kerkyra, as we call it in Greece). What makes it beautiful is not that everything is always perfect (who defines that anyway?), but the fact that each member also cares about the well-being of the whole, not just their own.
We were like the different types of trees on the roadside in St. Gordis and elsewhere in Corfu, which, while distinct, coexist harmoniously and draw nourishment from each other through their roots…
In this company, there is something I would describe like this:
If you stumble while walking with us, we will come to help you up. And if you then walk more slowly because you’re hurt, we’ll adjust our pace as well so that we can all reach the destination together.
Folks, thank you once again.
And here is Mr Rudder’s beautiful poem:
In the Publication’s menu, you can see a section that’s called “Metousiosis.” It hosts all the pieces I publish in ChannSpirations&Coincidences. Metousiosis is a Greek term (μετουσίωσις) that means a change of ousia (οὐσία, “essence, inner reality”). We also use it to describe the act/process of taking something that one saw or experienced, and transmuting it into something meaningful, something that has a (new) value to offer.
To me, all the pieces that are published to the publication, are the result of metousiosis, no matter who the author is. We transform our experiences into something valuable and meaningful. Of course, this happens with writings that are published in other publications, too, but ours is dedicated to celebrating the synchronicity in all its forms and the magical alchemy that can result when we open our hearts and minds to embracing change and uncertainty.
ChannSpirations&Coincidences is a home that will welcome with warmth the new essence of your experiences. You’ll find Marcus aka Gregory Maidman, Claire Kelly, and I smiling at its doorstep.
If you swim in Instagram’s ocean, you’ll find me somewhere here, on a raft like the one Odysseus had. ♾️ Anthi Psomiadou — CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 International : Credit must be given to the creator/ Only noncommercial uses of the work are permitted/ No derivatives
