World Poetry Day 2023
Freedom Called Poetry
A Tanka/Twittle— Always be a Poet Even in Prose

“You are the road to love and at the end my home” — Rumi
dreamer’s den lighted wearing cloak of milkyways flying without wings world in a world fits inside healing pain poetry scab
My Corner: No society has been able to abolish human sadness, no political system can deliver us from the pain of living, from our fear of death, our thirst for the absolute. It is the human condition that directs the social condition, not vice versa — Eugene Ionesco
The reason we need Creativity, we need Art, we need poetry. And we need to ode our healer on World Poetry Day (Week). A thank you note to all poets who bare their soul to keep the hearth glowing and lives inspired — Some day the world will wake up to this priceless intangible gift that is a skin between the bones of reality and a whiff of dream (And this is how I write poetry even in prose!)
Following up with a Twittle:
My legs touch ceiling, I sit on my head Eyes on nails, I chew my plate Do not phew! now listen to me — That is freedom, We call poetry
Here’s tagging a few poets and their poetry from Paper Poetry whom I read and enjoyed:
Here’s wishing all poets/poetry lovers in words and soul on World Poetry Day (Week). Keep writing and keep mesmerising !
