Follow-Up Article with a Less Than $100 Bidet Option
The water is not heated, but it gets the job done

“Top 15 Things Money Can’t Buy Time. Happiness. Inner Peace. Integrity. Love. Character. Manners. Health. Respect. Morals. Trust. Patience. Class. Common sense. Dignity.” ― Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart
I recently published an article about a toilet seat bidet restoring the dignity of a friend’s mother. The mom did not want her son-in-law to wipe her butt after using the restroom. I detailed how a simple tool positively affected an older person’s dignity. The premium bidet that her family brought the mom after she adjusted to and liked the lower cost bidet was the story, too.
I did not provide details of the bidet toilet seat she used before upgrading to a full-featured super-premium model. They actually restored her dignity with the lower cost bidet; the BB2000 was a luxury that her daughter provided the mother. Dignity is one of those things money can not buy.
Since then, I have gotten several private and public messages asking me if I knew of a cheaper option than the $699 Bio Bidet BB2000. I do. Several toilet attachments in the less than $100 range and quite a few bidet toilet seats in the $200 to $300 range do an excellent job.
All of them are touchless, which means only water is on your butt and privates. My first bidet foray was a Bio Bidet toilet seat attachment. I graduated from a toilet seat attachment to a Bio Bidet BB2000 because my spouse gave me the BB2000 as a present. He noticed how much I liked the resulting cleanliness and elevated my experience.
Try a cheaper alternative first if you need to determine if you want water spraying your behind and privates.
No, I am not an affiliate of any bidet company. No, I don’t sell bidets. I’m not making any money from bidets. I have seen how a simple tool affects an older person’s dignity. My first bidet experience, the Bio Bidet SlimEdge Simple Bidet Toilet Attachment, is on sale at Amazon for $34.99, which is 41% off. It is a non-electric, touchless, manually directed spray attachment tool that does the job and will help you decide if you want to upgrade to a full feature seat.
Installation can be a do-it-yourself project to put the attachment under the existing toilet seat. The supplied fitting connects the bidet to the existing toilet water supply. The bidet pulls from the clean water supply and provides it to the bidet toilet seat attachment. There are videos on YouTube that show the installation process.
Try a cheaper alternative first if you need to determine if you want water spraying your behind and privates. No harm, no foul. If you don’t like it, give it away. Remember, the only thing that has contact with a user is a stream of water. Good luck. I have super freshness after every toilet episode. I wish the same for you.
