Flying bombs in the air
There is no place to hide, what lies ahead is only death

I have insomnia, it's difficult for me to sleep. Part of the issue can be because of the antidepressants I take for my Pure O OCD problem. These days holidays are going on, on account of Durga Puja. I am in my den playing games all day. But today at noon I had one of the best sleep after a long time. But I was having seizures while seeing dreams. Why do you ask? I imagined somebody bombing my home, the recent bombing of a hospital in Gaza might have to do with it. But, beyond that, I fear being bombed from above. What happens in the land and seas is that, you can swim and run hence there is a chance for you to attempt a fight to survive. But what do you do when someone bombs you from your abode?
I mean that stuff is crazy right? One of the most vivid and lucid dreams of all time and the way I interpreted dreams and the reality almost shifting like a mirror led me to believe whatever I was experiencing was true. I felt the dread, despair, and helplessness in the air. My heart pounded hard, Our house was not supposed to be bombed but the authorities said you got to put the civilian flag on the top of your home. Someone from the family did not do the needful hence our house was bombed.
I think war jitters are on my skin now. Believe me, I have had my fair share of experience living in a security state. I come from the northeast state of India called Assam. During the insurgency days, bombs were blowing off in the capital city Dispur, adjacent to it lay the city of Gauhati which is the gateway to the northeast region of India and talks are on to build a transcontinental highway up to Thailand, and Vietnam. There was one incident where I was coming from my school seated in our commuting Van. My brother was looking at me with his wet eyes. He was small back then. His classes usually end 10 minutes early. I used to pick him up as soon as my classes finished. He often cries fearing that I might have left him and he was all alone. But as soon as he sees me he cries like a snoozing alarm clock, breaks in between, constant weeping after the breaks. And after he is done crying I would hand him a chocolate.

He was looking at me with his wonder eyes having his chocolate. I was staring at the window. I had no one to talk to since all the kids traveling in that van were seniors that was their last school year. Suddenly one of our teachers who sat at the front turned around and told us, “I heard that bombs are blowing up in Gauhati like firecrackers.”
I remember during those days whenever I went to Gauhati with my parents in our car or took a bus there I often prayed, “Please do not blow a bomb where we would stall, eat or walk.”
A fear ran through me, while my brother wanted my chocolate as well. I gave him mine too or else he might ring like an alarm clock again. I asked her “Miss! Where in Gauhati?” She utters with a line of sweat on her forehead with a grim of tension, “I don’t know actually!” I went home and just turned on my TV. It was 2009 and the internet was still a new thing in our locality. We relied on TV for all the information.

I see burnt bodies and coverage of the bombings live. There was footage of the smoke that came from it. While watching the national news, to my surprise they covered the news quite exhaustively, or else North East India does not get that much on-time screen space in news channels. The major reason is, that we are not electorally higher on the seat matrix, hence that does not put us in priority. Also, we are civil, more friendly towards women, and do not practice things like dowry, which only the North also known as the cow belt North does. It's a specific region in the north by the way.
But then our state was in constant war with immigrants from Bangladesh and to east lay China which any Indian Govt wasn’t willing to hand over free territory, or else the land where Gandhi was born would point out nukes to the Dragon.

The Dragon has better equipment believe me, but since Gandhi’s land has ICBMs that cover any region of Dragon’s land, they don’t want to mess with that.
Hope, all the small SE Asian nations that are being bullied by the Dragon had some chip on their shoulder against the naughty Drogo to protect themselves from any unforeseen tricky and sneaky attempts of the Dragon.
Believe me, if getting around nuclear powers was that easy North Korea won’t exist on the world’s map. The sad truth for all the countries Uncle Sam went against, they are either infested with ISIS or are destroyed like Yemen, Libya, and Iraq.
The world is a strange place, I am living by interchanging one sad moment at a time.
