POEM OF CHOICES
Flavor Explosion
How do you decide when there are so many flavors of sweet treats you haven’t tried?
Sweet sensations overwhelm my eyes overload my mind raise my heart rate and drool at the thought can I taste them all
This sweet store was open, but I didn’t want to go I didn’t deserve the pleasures offered galore choosing my punishment instead
I’d wrap my treats and save in hiding To tempt but not go near waiting for permission granted one day they’d be there waiting when I was whole and healed
I stand before the counter whiffs of rainbows float right through me the flavors exploding before they even touch I choose them all
Thank you for reading my multi-layered poem today.
