Find a penny, luck, or curse Fifty-fifty if it’s your blessing Toss of the coin couldn’t be worse Decision made, added to my purse I believe it’s the hope I am stressing

A token with questions, I can tell Who lost this precious wishing coin Are their dreams left now where it fell Shall I still bring it to the wishing well Rub its copper for each our luck to join

I make a wish, say a prayer, lob it in the air Plop, sink, through the water’s glass Superstitions disappear, and all reflections fair My heart skips, tempting fate with a dare No coin needed; perseverance granted priceless class
