Fear of Love
Protect yourself at all costs!

For a long time tender rocks protected my heart. Her whispers cracked my mountain. Exposing my defects. I panicked at losing control. My pride kept her alone.
In silence she suffered for me. Praying for the strength that I might see.
A coward, hiding under steel skin. A child afraid he may betray himself out of sin.
My selfish fate is an imposter. Only teaching to take from pleasure.
Her soft words speak love’s sedate. A man enters passion. He must awake!
Our matching breath melts among shifting skin. She tamed the illusions twin. I caress her presence, falling into her power.
My fear seeps out, draining my heart. The shield of my skin has crumbled. Stone has become her molder’s clay.
