Farewell, My Lover

Farewell, my lover: It’s your time, Destiny calls you, And forgets about me.

Sitting alone in this place Where our souls once entwined, My heart still carries you, And without understanding, It loves you still, even in your absence.

My memory holds onto you with hope, Extending our story through imagination, Unfolding like dreams, Such a dangerous pleasure.

I experienced the joy of knowing you, Now I experience the pain of losing you. ~ Farewell, my lover!
