WRAPPING LIES IN THE AMERICAN FLAG AND BURNING THE CONSTITUTION

Faith is Free; Religion Comes With Fees, Tithes, Contracts, and Institutional Lies

Organized Religion the Biggest Grift of All

by the author, Kimberlee Jakobe

People are feeling lost and disconnected. I wrote about the feelings of anger that seems so prevalent and overpowering. Almost everyone is feeling it.

The more the media lies and manipulates, the more insecure we feel. The intent to cause distress — affects every single citizen. It doesn’t matter how protected your finances, status, and job are —the undercurrent of deceit is crippling our country.

If you’re in financial distress, as many of us are, the country’s instability is scary and, at times, overwhelming. There’s no cushion.

We’re left not trusting each other, our family, or even ourselves! It seems like even our best judgment comes into question from some unidentified source.

Perhaps I have a different perspective because my son passed away three years ago, sending our family spiraling into pain and brokenness. Then each of us bounced off the other’s pain and hurt like small tornadoes of barbed wire attracted by love but repelled by the pain we caused each other.

Losing Kaleb meant I would never be the same. I see life and death very differently.

My belief in God is also very different from what it was when I was younger. Losing my son is only part of the shift in my views— though not all.

I grew up in the Southern Baptist Church, Pentecostal Church, and the Church of God. In the past, I have joked that I am positive I’m getting into heaven because I have been baptized into many religions.

I have very different feelings about heaven and hell now.

Is God real?

We KNOW there’s evil in the world. We see evidence of it daily. I believe we cannot have evil in this world without good — we don’t see the good as clearly.

Good must be there, or evil would have already won.

Since I was a small child, it has been ingrained that the church is good. There was only ONE answer, the TRUTH, with God! After all, the church is the very house of God — where we can go for sanctuary in times of fear and overwhelming pain.

When I was a teenager, married, and living in Wildflecken, Germany, during the 80s, I often felt homesick and lost.

I didn’t have a community or a support system. On several occasions, the sudden onset of adult responsibilities mixed with typical teen emotions while living isolated in a foreign country — was a lot for me. I didn’t even know how to identify feelings, let alone deal with them collectively.

In my loneliness, I was drawn to wayside shrines that dotted the countryside of Germany. Often, local craftsmen erect small shelters on private land and stationed along paths or the side of roads to commemorate a particular event.

Most roadside shrines are permanent structures containing religious statues or sculptures, often with intrinsic woodwork and even gilded and ornate light fixtures.

There was a particular roadside shrine near where I often walked; inside was a statue of Jesus lying prone on a bed next to Mary Magdalene after the crucifixion.

There were many times when I would stop there and say prayers to God, Jesus, and Mother Mary — because I knew many of these shrines were catholic. Even though I didn’t know anything about catholic prayers.

At the time, I didn’t know precisely what roadside shrines were intended for, but these little shrines allowed me to stop and acknowledge my need to touch God.

In those moments, standing outside these little shrines, I discovered a truth that would stay with me, no matter where I am, what I’m facing, or how big the enemy before me — God is where I need him, and that is wherever I am.

God is exactly where you are. He’s not so small as the simple, uneducated brains trying to use God’s power to compel man to OBEY.

Faith is free. It costs nothing to avail yourself of your God’s time. Having a personal relationship with your Higher Power is integral to our development as human beings.

However, many people also choose to have no faith or religion, which is ok.

Freedom to choose or deny Him is one of God’s foundational tenets for those He calls to follow Him. The absence of Free Will turns love into legalism. That’s not God —

As Americans, we have freedom of choice regarding our faith or our lack thereof, which is why our forefathers intended to create a country free from the bloodbath of organized religion, trying to ordain faith when they couldn’t legislate decency.

If people would step back from all that’s happening and ask who is behind it? Who is benefiting from the chaos? What distraction is being used to cover what event?

Today, the same person who controls most media (and influences the rest), owns the Bible, most Christian publications, and Fox News — Rupert Murdoch.

My son is a manager at a local store, and he was told they could no longer mark down any “Americana” merchandise because it’s considered sacred and must be destroyed like the flag and not discounted.

That’s the best proof of commercialism and corporate manipulation I’ve seen in a long time.

When the focus is on preserving the flag, versions of the flag, and elevating the flag, dishonoring the Constitution is a perversion of respect.

Freedom from religion was the very purpose of America.

Anyone who claims otherwise — never read the Constitution or the Bible. The only answer is to have a relationship with God, a real life-changing relationship.

Consequently, there will be no need to legislate God since you will know the difference between actual and commercialized Christianity.

Faith is free. Otherwise, it’s capitalism and not God.

When one has a real relationship with God, you don’t need to advertise as “Christian”— there would be obvious signs, but the sign should never be a swastika.
