Facebook Error in Posting Blog Links:- How to Solve?
Self-marketing is a must, but not at the cost of social issues
In mid-March, Facebook had deleted lots of comments and posts (mostly link) posted in various groups. We can understand that Facebook deleted such comments to tackle fake news spread on social media. Many users had reported problems in those days, which obstructed their marketing. I appealed to their decision, and Facebook restored the comment after a few days.
Once again, Medium users are reporting similar Facebook errors while they post their links (both blog and comments). While some mention the problem with Dr. Mehmet Yildiz’s Illumination, I found them not working in terms of many publications.
Social Media content has manipulated elections. Research by Oxford Internet Institute states that organized social media manipulation campaigns are now prevalent in 70 countries around the world (more than double compared to 28 in 2017). So Facebook’s approach to preventing spam and manipulation US presidential election 2020 is a welcome move.
But in this process, thanks to artificial intelligence, the act deprives many freelancers of social marketing. The error or facebook block can be mainly because of the following reasons.
- Posting of excessive external links on Facebook
- Posting external link of spam or clickbait articles
- An anonymous report your comment link to Facebook (It happens mostly when user post irrelevant and repetitive links and author of the post is annoyed)
- During crisis or subject to the national interest
If you are not the one in the first three, the problem encountered be because of the fourth reason. So how do we self market our blog and post in this situation?

How to share blog safely as a post

- Go to your blog post on Medium and click on the Facebook share button.
2. Go to a particular group, write some narrative and share

If you want to post your blog link as a comment, share a link not from the URL box but not the one you can see below. To get the link easily, click on share to twitter and copy the link from the tweet box. I know its complicated but helpful.
I copied the above link and I just posted it in one of the threads on Facebook.
To avoid opening your articles every time you need to copy, make a habit of storing those links in any of the online/offline documents. The best is to copy your link while you post your story itself.
