Except For Love, Nothing Will Remain Forever ~ Rumi
Taking Over From A Flying Start

Hello Paper Poetry patrons,
Hope everything is fine in your part of the world 😊 Allow me to express a heartfelt thank you for your ravishing responses to the W1 and the W2 prompts. We are grateful for your time, creative collaboration, and showering your love. Your support and synergy are our raison d’être.
Let’s have a quick glance over the past week’s prompts.
W1: Inaugurating the Weekly paper Poetry Prompt in Paper Poetry, a Word prompt by Suntonu Bhadra. He threw a challenge, to write a poem on ‘Home’ in 25 words or less! You all eloquently epitomized that brevity is the soul of wit in your offerings. We bow down to y’all! 🙇 You can explore the W1 Prompt poems here.
W2: Off To A Flying Start, an Ekphrastic prompt by Carolyn Hastings. She enticed the writers to craft a poem based on a picture. The picture she presented was of three pigs with wings and, Oh My Gosh!, you creative people composed such beautiful poetry out of it. Each submission was phenomenal and we are in awe of you all. Hats off! 💂♀

👉 Poetry Prompt — A two week prompt to include the Valentine’s Day
February is here, Love is in the air ❤️and St. Valentine is knocking every tender heart to sing a song, write a poem for their sweetheart. To keep your spirits up for love and longing we have come up with an epigraphic prompt.
An epigraph is a quote, phrase, or paragraph that appears at the beginning of a write-up. Epigraphs are generally short quotations from an existing work. Epigraphs appear in quotation marks(“”) at the beginning of a text.
For this prompt the quote to be used as an epigraph is:
“Except for love, nothing you see will remain forever ~ Rumi”
All you have to do is use the quote as an epigraph at the start of your poem and compose a poem revolving around the gist of this quote.
Scribble, scrawl, inscribe, churn out a poem from the deep, vast ocean of love you have in your heart when you think of Except for love, nothing you see will remain forever.
