Evolution
A Poem
It’s a spiral they say, a double helix full of letters,
an infinity symbol of sorts, made of star dust and space glitter,
that makes us into whatever we are. Yet they don’t know the half of it, they say as they
seek to map it and clone it and perfect this or that, designer babies, and end to diseases, playing God, some
say, and yet daily we can all play God, by opting to see what we are as perfect enough, being open to
selecting our own true nature, furthering our own evolution, walking the pathway from being asleep and used,
to being awake and in tune, we can design our own sparkle, twirl with our own glitter,
exist in unity with our own space dust, waking up to the reality of what is, letting go of that
which we regret or wish for, or seek to be, or somehow feel we can anxiety-fret into being, control into creating -
acceptance is the key to our evolution bit by bit we better ourselves and each other by claiming
the infinite spark that is there, glowing in us, and by reaching out to hold and heal
the embers of it that might need reigniting in each other.
