Even More Tagging

Should we call this place, Tagium?

I secretly like being asked questions. It turns me on. That’s why I am not adverse to the tagging epidemic going on aboard this ship whose name must not be mentioned…

Okay, I answered a tag from Ann Litts (Here) so now it is time to answer a tag from Susan Brearley :

  1. If you could meet anyone in history who would it be?

It’s a tie between Lao Tzu, Buddha, and Jesus’ mother. Oh, and there is also Black Elk, Gandhi, Cezanne, and Einstein. I only hope that when I meet them that they all can understand English and I don’t have to first learn a foreign language.

2. You get a two weeks all expenses paid trip to anywhere in the world. Where are you headed and what will you do there?

Bali. I would spend the two weeks chilling out like I’ve never chilled out before.

3. What job did you want when you were growing up? Writer, journalist, editor?

Writer. Never anything else.

4. Cranberry sauce. Yay or nay?

Nay.

5. What is one thing (you’re) proud of related to your writing?

That I’ve released so much of it. Now I only have about 30 more years worth of it to get rid of.

6. What is one of your writing goals for 2020?

To be able to pay one month’s rent.

7. You won a food truck. What kind of food are you cooking?

Czechoslovakian burritos.

8. Artificial Christmas tree, live tree, or fresh-cut? Or no tree?

Back in December of 1990 my four-year-old daughter, my then-wife and I went to a Christmas tree farm in southwestern Washington State and we picked and cut down a delightful Christmas tree. We took it home and decorated it and did not get upset when the cat knocked it over. It was a sublime spiritual experience. Been there, done that. I have not had a Christmas tree in my home for close to twenty years. Personally, instead of everyone cutting down a tree and bringing it indoors, I wish everyone would plant a tree for Christmas. Of course, late December is about the worst time of year to plant a tree — at least in the Northern Hemisphere. So ask me this question again come April.

9. Do you make New Year’s resolutions?

Yes I do but I make them on November 1st rather than January 1st.

10. What book(s) are you reading now?

Right now I am not yet reading one because I just finished reading one — or should I say I just finished rereading one. I just finished rereading The Four Agreements, by Don Miguel Ruiz. It’s been close to twenty years since I last read it and I figured it was time to reread it. I liked it better the second time which is something I can say about a lot of books that I’ve read and reread.

Okay, there are my answers. There is a high number in that little green circle at the top of the page. I cannot help but wonder if I’ve been tagged yet again…
