Now that Valentine's day has passed.

You know, I’ve written a lot about my wife over the years. This was the last publicity photo taken of the two of us by Gary Friedman, a long-time friend. It was just 10 years ago.

I love my wife more every day. I don’t need Valentine's Day ❤️ to help her understand my love or the depth of my commitment. “Toots” is what I call her. It’s what my dad and grandfather said to their wives.

At this age, “in sickness and in health” from our wedding ceremony means a great deal to both of us. Those of you entering your sixties and seventies know what I mean.

My love for her is either a noun or a verb depending on the opportunity and the time of day.

It’s my hope that everyone has someone to love and someone that loves them unconditionally.

I’ve been married fifty-four years with two marriages. Sadly, the first was awful as far as a relationship
