“If you want to be a great editor, be a good reader first.” — Josh Balerite Acol

I have to say, I had a hard time thinking about what to write for this ‘Emotions’ prompt. I just thought of composing something about editors and their feelings. I have used a poetic form called Tautogram, which is free-verse poetry composed of words beginning with the same letter throughout the whole stanza.

Please do check my original version of this form and the steps to do this, below:

I do appreciate Sahil Patel for inviting me to join this challenge. Do check out his version of this prompt:

I am also bringing up to you a lovely adaptation about this prompt from my dear friend, Ntathu Allen:

Here’s another compelling one from my dearest Bhavna Narula:

Another beautiful piece from my friend, Doc Fatima Dr. Fatima Imam:

Big thanks to all the awesome poets joining us; my dear doc Dr. Preeti Singh, dear Geetika Sethi, Lucy Dan 蛋小姐 (she/her/她), Dr. Fatima Imam, and my dearest Bhavna Narula.
