Hey babe, you know my love for you is pure as snow.

When your boss made you sad, my joke made you laughter-clad.

When you felt embarrassed at my place, I quickly took you into my warm embrace.

The day you made me proud, I said I loved you aloud.

As the horror film made you scared, my support was offered undeclared.

When the menses made you grumpy, your fear makes me jumpy.

When my protective lap made you sleepy, your innocence made me weepy.

When you and I make love, I understand what it means to have — ‘’True Love.’

Bhavna Narula, 2021.

What can I say about emotions? It is who I am. They have been an integral part of my life as my name itself means emotions. I seldom had to explain my name’s meaning cos people could easily relate my name to emotions. Not all people have it, but people pretend very well that they do. Of course, you put them through a pressure test, and all their lies come through.

Anyways, Sahil Patel, your prompts are the most looked-forward things during my day. I am loving your prompts as well as your take on them. I feel it is binding people through their emotions, only expressed differently.
