Easy Life Lessons - Living on Purpose
Taking it one day at a time and living in the moment

When night comes most of us begin to wind down from the hustle and bustle of the day, seeking a peaceful night. Meditation is the key to get you in a place of serenity to let go of what was and breathe in what is now! Inhale peace, exhale restlessness! With every breath, the old moment is lost; a new moment arrives.
Beginning each day in a mental place where you can excel to be and do your best starts with your mental state and attitude. Life is filled with choices. Choices to be happy or unhappy, successful in your own right or unsuccessful, grateful or ungrateful.
Below are 15 Quotes to center your mind, body and spirit, as you surrender to your inner being.
Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky. Conscious breathing is my anchor.”– Thich Nhat Hahn
“To understand the immeasurable, the mind must be extraordinarily quiet, still.”– Jiddu Krishnamurti
“Your goal is not to battle with the mind, but to witness the mind.”– Swami Muktananda
“Meditation provides a way of learning how to let go. As we sit, the self we’ve been trying to construct and make into a nice, neat package continues to unravel.” — John Welwood
“Meditation is like a gym in which you develop the powerful mental muscles of calm and insight.”– Ajahn Brahm
“Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.” — Lao Tzu
“The act of meditation is being spacious.”– Sogyal Rinpoche
“Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless — like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”– Bruce Lee
“Meditation is not spacing-out or running away. In fact, it is being totally honest with ourselves.” — Kathleen McDonald
“In the same way that rain breaks into a house with a bad roof, desire breaks into the mind that has not been practicing meditation.”– Anonymous
“Meditation and concentration are the way to a life of serenity.”– Baba Ram Dass
“If the mind falls asleep, awaken it. Then if it starts wandering, make it quiet. If you reach the state where there is neither sleep nor movement of mind, stay still in that, the natural (real) state.”– Ramana Maharshi
“Undisturbed calmness of mind is attained by cultivating friendliness toward the happy, compassion for the unhappy, delight in the virtuous, and indifference toward the wicked.”– Patanjali, The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali
“Meditation is a vital way to purify and quiet the mind, thus rejuvenating the body.” — Deepak Chopra
“The more regularly and the more deeply you meditate, the sooner you will find yourself acting always from a center of peace.”– J. Donald Walters
In conclusion, every night meditating will ensure a restful and peaceful spirited night, releasing all distraction as you embrace your better good. It doesn’t take all night to meditate, mostly concentration and continuity to find your restful place in the universe of the mind. Likewise, on tomorrow choose to be happy and remain in a positive mental place because the glass is always half full, see it too believe it and enjoy your day, your way. “Life is a journey, live it!”
“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour….” (II Peter 3:18).
