Earth Energy is reflected in its elements Wood, Fire, Earth, Water, and Metal. From the tiny atom to a huge whale to the solar system itself, all things are said to be composed of some combination of these elements. There have been differences in the belief of these elements and traditions/philosophies throughout the ages.

Individual qualities permeate all energy sources, as they do you. Energy itself is a constant. Energy is how things change and move. It’s everywhere around us and takes all sorts of forms. Physical energy, emotional energy, spiritual energy.

Are you…

Wood? strong, growing, organic…

Fire? warm, hot, destructive…

Earth? solid, colorful, intense…

Water? cool, refreshing, stormy…

Metal? cold, indestructible, foundational…

Harmoniously placed these traditional initial elements compose our lives. The ebb and flow of all we are. The dichotomy of such characters weaves our spirits into their unique mastery. Think about it for a minute. We are composed of earthy elements and the basic nature of those ingredients creates our individual selves. Again, Energy is how things change and move. It’s everywhere around us and takes all sorts of forms.

Our reactions have both function and purpose. Again, individual qualities permeate all energy sources, as they do you. Physical energy, Emotional energy, Spiritual energy. The key in this menagerie is to utilize all given elements/talents, strength, warmth, intensity, coolness, and foundational.

The point is- since you are energy and of the earth, you are a part of the grand scheme of the planet. Your individual energy reacts and responds to others, as well as, to the planet at large.

You matter and are matter. Your contribution can be one of a positive nature or negative. Choices make a difference.

At any given time, I am a combination of wood, fire, earth, water, and metal. I contribute in meaningful ways to life on this planet and appreciate the gifts given. I think the realization of our mortality comes with the wisdom of who we are in an elemental sense. Maybe that is what it is all about. Of the earth- to the earth, contribute -then we move forward. Maybe it is as simple as that.

I wish you peace, love, and all that hippie shit. ( It is good to have an edge)

I do drink coffee lots of it. All kinds, any kind. My new love is cortado- simple elegance. If you choose to you may — Buy me a coffee?

If you choose not to buy me a coffee, please remember to clap fifty (50) times. Just hold down that little finger…I could use the inspiration. Thanks.
