So a while back I wrote about how I started investing into the Drip network.

I tested it for a couple of weeks. I was able to compound, claim, swap (both directions), & add more Drip.

It works!

I also bought me a pig for the upcoming Animal Farm launch, scheduled for 10/18/22, which is also a part of the Drip network…

Well, I have done more research into this Drip network thing. It seems that there is A LOT of anticipation on the upcoming Animal Farm launch…

As a matter of fact, the price of Pigs (AFP) has gone up from 131 BUSD (when I bought it) to 183 BUSD (as of today). I would expect them to continue to go up even after the launch.

Automatically, this is $52 in profit, just off the price alone!

I also expect Drip prices to go up as well.

So what did I do about it?

Well, the first thing that I did is to add to my Drip Faucet.

I was at 3.491 DRIP ($20.95). I bought 12.299128918332364784 Drip ($80) & deposited 12 Drip, which was 10.8 Drip ($64.8) after taxes. This brings my deposit balance to 14.561 Drip ($91.11).

I wanted my Drip balance to be at $100 but I forgot to factor in the deposit taxes(10%). Therefore, my deposit is $91.11. This also brings my Max Payout to 53.146 Drip ($318)! (This will continue to go up as long as I am compounding the earnings.)

Then I found out that I could go ahead & deposit my AFP into the Pig Pen. I didn’t have to wait until 10/18/22, the official date. So I did that as well.

Now What Happens with my Drip?

Well, if I continue to earn, compound, & withdraw on the Drip Faucet then I’ll probably do it this way.

Compound earnings for 4 days
Build earnings for 3 days
Withdraw earnings at end of day 7

So my 14.561 Drip will turn into 15.15223 Drip (up 4%) within the next 4 days. I’ll then earn 0.15152235 Drip (1% daily) for 3 days. This should be around 0.454567 Drip ($2.72) at the end of day 7, & withdrawn.

The next week my 15 drip will turn into 15.76 Drip, earnings will be 0.473024 ($2.83) Drip & so on…

(Keep in mind that the dollar amount is only if the Drip price stays constant at $6. If the price goes up 50% to $9 then so does the profits.)

The deposit amount, earnings, & withdraws will continue to go up as long as I keep compounding the earnings….Continued for about a year, without calculating withdraws, should bring my Drip Deposit to 550.16 DRIP ($3,300.96)!!!

This would then earn me $33 daily, $231weekly, $924 monthly, & $11,091 yearly, not calculating withdraws! All from $91 deposit.

Now What Happens with my Pigs?

So, if we use the same type of equation with my pigs (AFP) then here is what we get:

Staked 1.01 AFP ($185.28) on 10/15/22
Compound earnings for 4 days = 0.0808 AFP ($14.82)
Build up earnings for 3 days = 0.0606 AFP ($11.12) withdrawn on day 7

Continue this for a year as well…

This should build my staked balance up to around 935.39 AFP ($171,597 at current prices). My daily earnings should be around 18.7 AFP ($3,431.94 at current prices).

That’s crazy!!!

In Summary

So, if my calculations are correct, along with the current prices not changing, then I should be earning around $3k/ daily with this program at the end of a year’s worth of compounding, building, & withdrawing. (crossing fingers…)

This is a great Defi opportunity!!!

(This also doesn’t include any earnings from the farms in Animal Farm either!)
