Dreaming of Flight

memories flurry

dreaming of moonlit flight in

windswept snowflake grace

In my work on the snow reflection (see first link below) I had come up with this haiku. It didn't fit aesthetically to the reflection haiku but its dream called for life. Here I offer it as a stand-alone haiku of snowflakes dreaming about their flight from the heavens. The wind answers their call and affords them an opportunity to fly once more while the season lasts. What dreams are calling to your wind to raise them into life? What opportunities are waiting and listening in nature to answer that call? It is 2022 - It is time.
