Donald Trump’s German Grandfather Lied As Well
And he was an immigrant
Although most people have heard something about Donald Trump’s father being successful in real estate and about Donald Trump inheriting his wealth (at least at the beginning), I had not known about his grandfather, Friedrich Trump, who was an immigrant from Germany. I learned a lot from a story in Medium.
I came across a very interesting story by Ben Kageyama. I don’t know Ben, but his story sounded quite intriguing. I decided to read what he had written. He gave details about the life of Donald Trump’s grandfather. If you are interested at all in this, I would highly recommend that you read Ben’s story.
The title is: “Friedrich Trump, Donald Trump’s German Immigrant Grandfather, Irony in ancestry.” It was published on August 27, 2020, by History of Yesterday in Medium.
One thing mentioned in the story was that Friedrich Trump was in the habit of lying. We can’t say that Donald Trump learned that trait from his grandfather, but it seems the two shared the propensity to lie.
The sister of Donald Trump, Mary, and his niece by the same name have both been known to say that Donald Trump lies. It has been verified by many sources and fact-checkers. His loyal followers insist that he is honest and does not lie.
Since Donald Trump has had three wives who were all immigrants, it seems strange that he should be so against immigrants. Maybe it is not strange when you consider that the immigrants that he mostly opposes are those who are not white people from European countries. The wall between the United States and Mexico which he started to propose during his first campaign is to keep out people he deems as undesirable.
Ben mentions in his story that the Spanish Flu had come to the United States in 1918 and became one of the deadliest pandemics in history. One of the people who died from it was Friedrich Trump.
“It is ridiculously ironic that a pandemic killed the grandfather of a President who downplays pandemics.” That is a statement from Ben’s story.
Donald Trump has said repeatedly that he was not expected to win in 2016. Now he wants another term.
