Donald Trump is Honest Without Meaning To Be

And she said, “Donald Trump is horrible, but he is honest.” I agree. He is honest without meaning to be. Have you ever met someone who cannot control their emotions and their tongue? They speak their mind not because they are honest, they just can’t control their impulse. They weren’t taught or encouraged as a child to think before they act. Growing up into adulthood, they weren’t encouraged to filter their words or thoughts.

As babies, they would do or say certain things, and instead of instilling discipline, their parents laugh, sending the child the wrong message. The bad behavior would be laughed at and thought of as being cute, giving the child the power to continue on a path that could cost them their life if they don’t learn from their mistakes.

In my culture, the child would be slapped on his/her mouth by either the parents or a family member for being disrespectful. And if that behavior continues into adulthood they would have a stigma attached to them. They would be called a ‘chatterbox.’ The men would be called a ‘mama man.’ They would be feared by everyone in their community as someone who can’t keep secrets. They would be considered to be dangerous.

Wealth aids in their bad behavior as no one bothered to tell the child that he/she is wrong.

Being powerful or influential, more people will cheer them on when they do the wrong things, thus allowing them to continue on that path long enough for it to become a habit. Children are watching and they will imitate what parents do, right and wrong. The truth is a responsibility. It comes with responsibility, power, choices, friends, and foes. Some personalities aren’t aware that they hold the power of their life and death in their tongue. Our tongue can be a tool or a weapon. It gives us the power to destroy or build. Words are powerful and they can spur into actions for us or against us.

America knew about Donald Trump before he was elected. Many people didn’t believe some of the things said. He unconsciously has proven all the assumptions that others have about him to be true. Win, lose or draw this coming election, he has used his power of words to do a lot of harm to himself and his country. By being himself, he has used his power of truth to create enemies, instill hatred, promote racism, destroy lives, and so much more.

His ability to be honest without meaning to be would have cost him less if he wasn’t in the position he is in right now. He can’t stop, because he doesn’t know the difference between right or wrong, or good and bad. He hasn’t paid the consequences for any of his bad actions or decisions, so he doesn’t think what he is doing is wrong.

When we pay for our mistakes, most of us learn something from it. When we don’t, we continue until life or death stops us. His parents probably rewarded him for his bad behavior as a child instead of disciplining him. They were his cheerleaders supporting the wrongs he did, and he loved them and wanted to please them, so he continues doing what made them smile. Oh, the things we do to make our parents happy. (I am being sarcastic). That robs him of his ability to know the difference between right and wrong. Children need to know the difference between right and wrong at an early age. You see, he is being honest about himself and who he is.

Unfortunately, the truth can’t set him free. His personality is one of the reasons why they say the truth is ugly. Life pays all of us back, all of us. In his case, it will be a lumpsum payment, because he had lived to be over seventy years old and haven’t changed much of his life. When humans think they are winning, they will never stop doing what aids in their victory, right or wrong.

Find the wisdom in your words, then use it wisely. Use your power of words as a tool, not a weapon.
