With those six words, the greatest video ever shared between stoned idiots was born. It has all the elements of great art: drama, comedy, tragedy, farts.
The critics couldn’t get enough.

But like all great art, even Dog Fart Cat Puke has its detractors. A rumor is circulating among the cynical that the video is fake. According to haters, this masterpiece isn’t a single clip, but is actually an amalgamation of two previously existing clips. The cat’s nauseated reaction is therefore a lie, another phantasm to placate the masses.
Hogwash!! We can’t question Dog Fart Cat Puke without questioning every great comedic performance of the last century. If Dog Fart Cat Puke isn’t real then what is real? Maybe Rodney Dangerfield actually does get respect. Maybe David didn’t even go to the dentist. Maybe Austin Powers isn’t a British Spy but is instead a Canadian actor of middling talents who managed to stretch one character into an entire career.
