Karl Pilkington is confused. He thinks his brain is separate from him.

In the following video, we see him attempt to explain his bafflement. It all comes from one time when he was making a shopping list. He thought he’d finished the list, then the thought “onion” popped into his head.

Where did that thought come from? He certainly didn’t think he thought it. So is he in control of his brain or is his brain in control of him?
