TEST
Do Not Clap, Highlight, or Comment on This Article!
I mean it; help me test something out…

Guys, I think I know what’s going on with the low earnings. I have a theory, and I want some help testing it out. So please read this article and follow my instructions. I will share the result of my test for the good of our community.
First of all, do not clap, highlight, or comment on this article AT ALL. I will link another story (acting like an annex) at the end of this post. Click on that and comment there if you want to share your opinion on the subject of this article.
Long story short, it dawned on me that maybe we are now punished for the genuine engagement that we participate in. Looking back on it, I should have thought about this from the start, but as soon as the bot hack was thrown our way, I put it to the back of my head.
Do you guys remember that message Coach Tony posted about rate limiting when someone asked if a new monetization system was implemented?
Before he made an edit, telling us about the bot hack, Tony mentioned that if you comment and engage too much, that’s a sign that those stories you do that on are not “the crème.”
Well, I don’t know about you guys, but there are plenty of times when I want to genuinely comment on a story. Besides that, it’s also true that I want to support those who I read with claps and comments to show some love.
But if I could help people more by not engaging at all, then that’s what I’ll do. Despite that, I know how happy people get (me included) when they receive genuine engagement. Therefore, I have come up with an ingenious solution to do both.
This would also help me spot the bots or clap-and-runners, because I bet you that those people would be the only ones clapping or highlighting when I told my readers not to do that.
