Displacement
Poetry / Lyrics
There was a time, We were looking to the sky, In a dream as one.
And there was a grace, Such a beautiful escape, Now it’s gone, Now we are lost.
As you don’t hear me, You don’t know me.
So, I can’t wait around for you darlin’, Makes no sense.
You see, I can’t stay out here in the sadness, of displacement.
You don’t hear me, You don’t know me.
How I loved your face, When your heart couldn’t wait at all.
But now it’s time for goodbye, As you’ve been closing the door.
You don’t hear me, Well you don’t know me.
So, I just swirl around like a darkness, Makes no sense.
You see, I can’t make it right in the sadness, of displacement.
Mostly, I just want to cry in the dead of night, and be free.
As you don’t hear me, Well, you don’t know me.
And now, I can’t wait around in the fear and doubt.
Just to see, Just to see.
You don’t love me.
