100th Day of Medium Partner Program.

So I got paid $20 per day for writing and having fun on Medium.

I joined Medium membership on November 15, 2023. Just exactly 100 days ago and this will be my 149th post.

Like many the first Month was sure a struggle. Could not even cover for Medium membership.

By the 2nd Month, things started to pickup some steam.

Here is the breakdown:

Nov. 2023 — Feb 22, 2024. ($3.15+452.68+765.29+785.33 = $2006.45)

This still seems unreal but it happened.

Consistency is a requirement, what else has contributed the most to this?

Best Time to Post

Knowing when your existing reader is online is critical.

When it comes to posting every minute counts.

I mean you are launching a rocket into the air so how high and far it can reach depends on many pillars.

The first one is when should you hit publish, as you or your account is made of your audience of yesterday + the new one today.

You should have a ball part of when you get the most attraction and start with that time frame first.

Title and Tags/Topics

They said the title is a good percentage of getting views or not.

I said the title is the only tool you have for a human to read and decide if they want to read or not.

If the title is good, they click and read it, if it is something else then your result will likely drop.

Tags/Topics are included here as they are for medium algorithm to put placement on your post, so see who it should sent it to.

Yes, people do follow tags/topics but what I see the most of the part is being down my medium not individually going around and following different subjects.

So picking the right one does move the needles.

Publication

Knowing what Pub fits your content is critical.

As it can make or break your initial run on each post you publish.

writer and reader follow pubs and their post from the pub will be shown to the one that follows first.

If you do a bit of research, you can have a good grasp of who the readers are.
