“Rogues, exactly,” mumbles the sorcerer as you stride off through the forest with a new sense of purpose.
Soon you reach the tower. Geart pops up again, and you glare at the sketchy gnome. “We’re defending the treasure,” you snap.
“Go right ahead,” he says, bowing to Tyrus.
Meanwhile, Tyrus has half-transformed back into a wolf form, and is scratching his armpit thoughtfully. “After you, hero,” he says, unlocking the vast door.
“Me first?” you ask.
“We need a brave person to check for obstacles,” explains Geart.
“I’m not sure…”
“Please, friend… just a very quick look…?” says Tyres/Snark.
