For the record, I actually copied the list from this tweet¹.
Let’s face it, success isn’t about vocabulary. It’s about being BOLD. Everybody will tell you basically the same thing: “find your voice, write in your very own style, be authentically spurious.”
In my opinion, that’s horse manure. There’s actually one simple key to success: imitate the successful. As a matter of fact, that’s what they did. After some time they got really bored of imitating and started something different. Actually, something very different.
But they were already very successful by then. So whatever they would think of would basically become the new norm of success.
Just think about it next time you want to write a viral article. Think about it really hard.

¹ Let’s face it, this list is actually very useful in my opinion. As a matter of fact, I’m using it daily. Basically, you just have to pick one of the words to make your article really good. Personally, I recommend two. For the record, in order to write my last viral article, I used three.
