Here is our list for today's prompt by Subhi:

1️⃣ Day or night, and why?

There was a time when I was young that I might have chosen night, but now I am choosing day. I love the early morning when the first rays of sunshine shine through. You never know what the day will bring, so I have anticipation for what is ahead.

2️⃣ Summer or winter, and why?

When I lived up North I loved summer. I loved to go swimming and go on picnics. Now I live in Florida so I will choose winter. Winters are mild here, and the hurricane season is in late summer and fall.

3️⃣ Tea or coffee? and why?

I love my morning coffee with just a touch of cream. I like a cup of coffee with dessert, which doesn't happen very often. I like tea, but coffee is my first choice.

4️⃣ Guitar, piano, or maybe another instrument, and why?

I enjoy almost any instrument and the piano is a wonderful instrument. My first choice is guitar. One of my sons plays the guitar and I love to sit and listen to him play. It is fun to sing along with the guitar music.

5️⃣ Still or sparkling water, and why?

I think sparkling water might be healthier. At least it sounds good.

6️⃣ A time off in the mountains or near the seaside, and why? I love both of these, but I have to choose mountains. There is a feeling of peace for me when I am in the beautiful mountains. I have traveled to see different mountains many times.

7️⃣ The city or the countryside, and why?

I spent a short period of time living in the country and I really liked it. However, for most of my life, I have lived in the outer suburbs of the city, so I will choose the city. I like where I live and it is not right in the middle of a downtown area. I would not like that.

8️⃣ Venus or Mars? and why?

I am a woman! I most certainly choose Venus. Why would I want Mars, the god of war?

9️⃣ Reading or writing and why?

This is a tough question as I love both. I have read all of my life, and I have been writing on Medium and Hubpages for 15 years. I have written in journals in many different years of my life also. I could not quit reading, so maybe that is the first choice, but it feels more like a tie.

🔟 Love or being loved, and why?

Both of these are good, but I have to say being loved sure feels good. I love being loved, so it has to be my first choice.
