December on NewsBreak: A Jump in My Stats
My view and impression, count how much I earned, and what I plan to do for January.
Since I last posted my previous NewsBreak article, my work has been taking off — It is great to see! From my last check-in, things have grown.
Below are the stats for only December:
Total posts: 6 — all cross-posted on Medium
Total impressions: 2,452,674
Total views: 108,453
Earnings:
This is amazing to reflect on, especially when I consider where I was less than a month ago.
I achieved 2.4 million impressions in 30 days, while it took me three months to achieve 3 million impressions previously. I have also earned my total view count within 30 days as well.
What made the difference?
I have been having a lot of success with narcissism and toxic relationship stories. I do write about mental health — I do get some views from that. But the majority of my earnings have come from narcissism stories.
Aside from the stories that I posted this month, many of my previous ones took off. For example, a story I posted back in September ended up getting over 18,000 views — all of which made me over $150.
I also had other stories take off that garnered extra views. The small amount of views from other stories has also added up to get me to the total that I have now.
So what am I going to do next?
I clearly have found my niche, and I need to run with it. My old stories and new stories have been making consistent money — I need to ramp up production.
I don’t want to jump headfirst into a plan — it needs to be slow and steady.
Since I began my writing journey back in August, the narcissism stories have always been my shining stars.
I am totally and completely lucky that I found a niche on accident. I didn’t plan to write about the narcissist that tried to ruin me — that was for my own benefit.
I was surprised to see how many people have resonated with my words.
I plan to post twice the amount of stories this month on NewsBreak. I hope that this will raise my earnings, follower count, and view count!
