Death: A Must and a Gift
Each of us has our own reason to want or wish someone dead. For many of us, it’s just out of frustration and anger.

Death is the permanent, irreversible cessation of all biological functions that sustain a living organism.
Pain is associated with death, but so is joy. Certain circumstances or situations are attached to both emotions.
Someone said that death is a must and not a gift. Each of us has our own reason to want or wish someone dead. For many of us, it’s just out of frustration and anger. If words were bullets, and our mouths were guns, humans would add to population control by the seconds, and some in masses too.
A dictator is a leader who holds absolute authority and an extraordinary degree of personal power. They have the power to make laws, suspend elections, proclaim a state of emergency, and repress political opponents without following any lawful procedures.
History has recorded the atrocities committed by humans for more than five hundred years. To their victims and their families, their death was a gift. The years they were allowed to continue their wickedness to many, their demise was a long-overdue bonus.
Below is a list of some of the forty-two dictators that history says have wreaked havoc on humanity. Some of them are still alive and are allowed to continue their brutality to humankind. The ones who are dead, their passing was a reward to humanity.

Adolf Hitler Nazi Leader, German dictator, and Chancellor of Germany 1933–1945. His downfall was a historic gift to the Jews and humanity.
Joseph Stalin, a Communist Revolutionary & Ruler of the former USSR ruled the Soviet Union for around 25 years from 1929 to 1953. His demise was a special gift to many Russians.
Saddam Hussein, a dictator who ruled Iraq as its president from 1979 to 2003, was described as one of the last great dictators of the 20th century. His regime caused at least 250,000 Iraqis deaths. His expiration was a gift to the surviving victims.
Kim Jong-un: Supreme Leader of North Korea. Time will tell for him.
Benito Mussolini, dictator of Italy from 1925 to 1945. His departure was a momentous gift to the Italians, Ethiopians, and our world.
Mao Zedong: Communist Leader of China is criticized for his authoritarian regime and policies, which resulted in millions of deaths.
Idi Amin: Former President of Uganda a.k.a. “Butcher of Uganda” was known for his despotic rule and was responsible for almost 500,000 deaths. Ugandans were happier after he died.
Muammar Gaddafi became Libya’s authoritarian dictator for more than 40 years.
Bashar al-Assad in 2011, his decision to impose military sieges on protesters participating in the Arab Spring resulted in the ongoing Syrian Civil War.
Pol Pot was widely considered a totalitarian dictator and responsible for the Cambodian genocide. 1975–1979. Cambodians received a memorable gift when he died.
Kim Jong-il: Former Supreme Leader of North Korea1994 and served in this position until his own death in 2011. His reign was repressive and totalitarian and was marked by food scarcity. His country is still feeling the pain as his legacy is allowed to continue.
Rafael Leónidas Trujillo Molina Former President of the Dominican Republic. While in power, the Dominican Republic witnessed large-scale violence. His 31-year-rule was one of the bloodiest eras in the Americas. His death was an award to the people of his country.
A mother’s love seems to have more value than a father’s affection. Yet, many fathers do a better job than their counterparts and many never get their rightful place in our world. But no one can take away the love left in the hearts of their children.
My mother was a dictator. She isn’t responsible for the deaths of thousands or millions, but she will be responsible for the lives and living of seven generations. Who, without awareness of life, self, and their ability to change, will continue her legacy.
Their endings are treasures to the surviving victims.
To all of the survivors, your life is a miracle in process.
To all of the parents, don’t leave a legacy of atrocities behind. Instead, give your generation more to fight with but less to fight for.
