Dear Soldier, Honoring Your Call

Time apart and countless sacrifices tell the stories that build our land.

Hellos and goodbyes Wave in the flag’s breeze

Letters wet with tears Pictures bent in embrace

Disconnected phone calls Holding on breathless

Love, pride, and faith Selfless serving calls

Firmly rooted beliefs Exercised its strength

Ideas and freedoms Held high for you and me
