Dead Falcons Falling from The Sky
We must acquire precise information about the climate crisis, and we must engage politically
Yesterday I thought
that this is serious
Global warming
2 to 3 degrees over the next ten years
“But it’s probably going well anyway
for me and my loved ones“, I thought .
Because we who live here
in this beautiful country
we have good systems for the most part
a good health service, free schooling, food and water
pension schemes and schemes to ensure that everyone
can live a good life above the subsistence level.
.
So even though the temperatures on earth are rising
by two or three degrees the next decade
“ — It’s probably going well, anyway, for me and mine
our future is our future
and it’s safe anyway”, I thought
because I was not better informed
But no! The situation is unfortunately not so bright
We have the knowledge of what the world must do
we know what is needed
to slow down and reverse the deadly trend
which already today leads to heat waves above 50 degrees
and causes dead birds to fall from the sky
.
We have challenges in two main areas
We must obtain reliable information and knowledge
on the climate crisis and the consequences of global warming
for us and the generations after us
And then we have to find out how we, through action
can slow down global warming and reverse the negative trend .
We must all get involved in the development of society
we must acquire precise information about the climate crisis
we must engage politically to influence how people
political parties, governments, and countries take action
to reverse the negative trend of global warming
and stop the rise of fascism
