Dark is Coming to the Light and Change is Inevitable
How life has a way of catching up with perpetrators.
The Ku Klux Klan is everywhere from the White House to the little back house in the southern states. They are alive and continue to infiltrate all aspects of life and of late has become even more visible as the past administration gave permission to do so. Divide and conquer and rule by fear has caused the emergence of visible systemic racism.
A Ku Klux Klan infiltrator found that their membership was comprised of many White supremacists groups that include lots of police officers, sheriff’s deputies, and prison guards. Well, this says it all. Now the world can ascertain why these members have been shooting and killing people of color at a more increasing, and alarming rate.
According to the news media, Joseph Moore, an Army veteran, for 10 years was an undercover informant who infiltrated the Ku Klux Klan in Florida and was able to prevent two murder plots.
As an infiltrator hitman for the Ku Klux Klan, he wore the white robe and hood, attended their meetings, and attended cross burnings. Note, this is modern-day not back in slavery days or the jim crow era when the KKK was prevalent in society with their heinous racist acts.
As an infiltrator, he was fully embraced as a KKK member who was included in a plot to kill a Black man as all was recorded as he wore an FBI wire. Recordings of fellow klansmen conversations were shared with federal agents trying to crack down on white supremacists in Florida law enforcement.
Moore put his life on the line as he could have been killed in an instant if he was found out to be an informant. According to him, he faced many scary days with the klansmen. Due to courage, the FBI exposed Klan members who worked as law enforcement officers in Florida at the city, state and local levels.
Due to his infiltration into the Ku Klux Klan, and after testifying in court, Moore was placed under witness protection with a new identity. His efforts and work as an informant thereafter, he chose not to discuss.
Upon learning that the FBI was investigating the KKK in Florida’s prisons, he felt it was his civic duty to assist as his past work had been beneficial via his work records and recordings for uncovering klansmen in the prison system.
Moore confirmed that he interacted with dozens of police officers, prison guards, sheriff deputies, and other law enforcement officers who were involved with the Klan and outlaw motorcycle clubs.
Initially, Moore’s informant days began with a request from the government as he took on a whole new persona and history to infiltrate the klansmen. He gathered as much evidence possible as they embraced him with high recognition based on his madeup life’s history.
The government agency was forced to end their relationship with Moore upon learning that his family had become aware of his activities with the klansmen.
Years later, 2013, the agency approached Moore to infiltrate a different Florida Klan chapter. Upon doing so, the klansmen put him in charge of security and the go-to guy for violence.
In 2014, the klansmen with him hashed out a scheme to kill a Black man who had gotten into a fight with a fellow klansmen. Moore alerted the FBI, and recorded their discussions of the murder plot that would lead to criminal convictions for three klansmen who were former prison guards.
At the same prison, officers recruited klansmen at the prison, as this was confimed by Moore. Of course, the Florida prison system disputed such charges or activity at the prison.
After Moore testified in this case, his identity was known and the FBI work ended. Since this time, he has going public so that his work and others will not be in vain in exposing domestic extremists. This would allow rooting out white supremacists and other violent extremists in law enforcement to be exposed.
In conclusion, Mr. Moore and other confidental informants for the FBI has provided a service that is much need on an ongong basis. There is yet a lot of work to be done rooting out klansmen and white supremacist groups within law enforcement from the White House to the small town USA backhouses. Systemic racism demands to be dealt with before we all perish like fools at the hands of each other. God help America!
