Dancing Elephants Press: Looking Back on 2021 Accomplishments and Plans for the Future

Dancing Elephant created by Andrea Mihaly

Today our publication it’s getting close to being three months old. An infant. We are still in our early stages of development just like the little avocado leaves we are emerging from the soil slowly before becoming a fruit-bearing tree. Dancing Elephant Press was born on medium on October 9, 2021.

The goal and the mission of the publication are to bring positivity into our lives. Since the publication was started we expanded from a regular column by adding a Health and Wellness section and a Recipe for Health Section into the publication. Many wonderful articles had been published since we started our publication. It has been great to meet many new writers and interact with old friends.

Vision for the Future:

I would like to support our writers and readers more in the future and would like to find a few people who would be interested in participating as editors or columnists with their section and responsibilities in the publication.

If you are interested, please let me know and we can set up a time to talk.

Dancing Elephant Press Book of 2022:

I have been also thinking about collaborating and creating a book for the publication that would be published yearly from the articles and authors who would like to participate. I would like to start this process this year and create a separate column where the Dancing Elephant Press Book articles are published. The articles will have a separate tag and set criteria. I will be working on this plan in the next few weeks and announce it once it is fully formed. Depending on how many articles are submitted a collection of stories would be published yearly or more frequently. Sections of the book would focus on Positivity — Feel Good Articles, Health and Mental Health, Wellness, and Other categories as they emerge. This will be a good way to place our writings in a more permanent form.

Thank you for reading and being part of Dancing Elephants Press.

Happy Writing and Reading in 2022,

Gabriella
