Daily Haiku #6: Childhood
a poem about when we were young
Bright innocent eyes
joyfully oblivious
to the world’s problems
My kids are young (3 years old and 5 months old) with no idea of what’s going on in the world. Sometimes I miss those long days of joy, of play, all without a care beyond the happenings of home.
This poem is part of a daily haiku project I started in 2020.
