the doctor holds you, your parents cradle you, And that is life!

first-ever heartbreak, an infinite spell of sadness, And that is life!

you both see each other, lovingly a silent camaraderie, And that is life!

families perched together, great dollops of happiness in the air, And that is life!

you reach the end, but the cycle repeats, And that is life!
