Cybermaster
The comparison to virtual success can create doubt in our own reality.
I hear them, speaking. The ways I’ve failed, making, telling, creating the person that I will be.
I hear them, whispering, mirroring my doubts, insulting, degrading, feeding my demons.
I hear them, patronizing, keeping me weak, inferior, worthless, comparing me to their success.
I fight expectations. Everything I’ve been told is a lie. The mind inside is my guide to the prize. I turn off the noise, ignoring my pride.
I humble myself for the gifts I have won, living in compassion without posting a sign.
I’ve slowed down my world, taken myself off-line. My cyber-master is blinded once my virtual chains are untied.
