Creativity in the Midst of Chaos
But what happens when the chaos ceases to exist?
Monday’s Prompt: Chaos is fertile soil for creativity

What obstacles get in the way of your creativity? As a writer, I strive to create great articles, but there are times where I find myself having nothing to write. I could just write random articles to fill the spaces, but I would prefer that everything that I write delivers a message with intention and passion.
Whether it is to inspire or help someone, make someone smile, or warm their hearts, I make the extra effort to create those pieces because that brings me satisfaction as well. And most importantly writing impactful pieces helps to feed my soul.
Currently, my mind is at ease so my inspiration to write comes from love and happiness. This can become redundant especially because the world around us is so chaotic. My creativity oozes out when my emotions are triggered, but lately most of my triggers have been love and compassion, therefore I write from that space.
I don’t believe creativity must come from chaos, but I must admit my leap into creativity was triggered by a series of chaotic storms. Well, 2020 was the damn storm and during that time, my world was turned upside down. Therefore, I made a decision to start living my life with intention. It was at a lake that I decided to make this shift, and I have not looked back ever since.
Chaos is fertile soil for creativity, but your light can illuminate even when your mind is at peace. I believe expressing emotions of love is where our lights shine the brightest because that is the true essence of our being.
Life in not linear and your path is yours to choose. We have to live each moment and take chances by investing in ourselves and our well-being. Whatever that produces whether it derives from chaos or from love, we should embrace it as part of our unique experiences.
This was written in response to Diana C.’s Monday Promptastic Prompt:
Thank you all for reading. And thank you Diana C. for creating the space so that we all can revisit stages in our lives, tell our stories, grow, and heal. KTHT has been a rollercoaster, one that I don’t mind riding.
