Crashing A Poetry Prompt Party

I heard there was Mexican food

Though not invited With Mexican food sighted If I walked by My taste buds would cry Me and favourite food re-united

So I crashed this party No matter how tardy Stuffing my face Loving this place Even though cheese makes me farty

Having feasted on taco With those who say ‘cilantro’ I best say G’day And be on my way As I’m now feeling very muy blanco

I left out ‘burritos’ Pardon me, amigos Also, less a haiku More a snafu I’ll leave you this bag of Doritos

I jumped in on this one as it entertained and I love good Mexican food.

Also, the good Dr, Michael Burg, MD (AKA Medium Michael Burg), said something about having written the world’s first double limerick.

Also, tags to Melanie J. who… well, you’ll understand if you follow the link. And to Lucy Dan 蛋小姐 (she/her/她), whom I’m sure tagged me in same or something similar a while back. Or was it Tree Langdon? I really should pay more attention if I’m going to turn ‘pro’ with this writing thing. 😎

Almost forgot… Be Adventurer, Dave Logan, Alice Cunningham, William Truelove, Susan Foster, PlainTalkBadManners, Tess Wheeler and Mary DeVries. Double down again in haiku or limerick or whatever tickles your fancy.
