Cracking Eggs
May Interview Prompt — So much fun to look inside

[1] What did you like to do most when you were 10? They say that this hobby is likely what brings you the most joy in life — is this something you still do? Stacking books to bring home from the library and tearing through them. Writing — diaries, poems, book reports, poems, LETTERS to pen pals around the world (Ireland, Vietnam, England, France, Turkey, Canada… list goes on. I LOVED mailing and receiving letters.) Am I still doing this? Dear reader…
[2] What genres do you write? Why do you choose to write with these types of structures? What’s attractive about them? Speculative Fiction. Many confuse this with dystopian sci-fi, but genuine Spec looks into profound “what ifs” and explores what a subtle inversion or paradigm shift could mean for characters and their intimate / grand potentials, affecting the world at large.
[3] What’s your all-time favourite childhood TV show? Star Trek. Twilight Zone. The Tonight Show — because I got to stay up late, watching it from start to finish whenever I stayed over at Aunt Rene’s. SNL with my dad — banned at home w/my mom. Oddly, bucking her mandate and letting me watch it when I stayed with him was one of the more parental things he did. “Mom won’t let me watch it.” | “Well, you’re with me tonight.”
[4] Pick one sense and tell us about the most relaxing thing you do in relation to that sense. Intuition. Reaching an epiphany is the most exhilarating form of relaxation. Sight. Watching a stellar pour of wine make legs down clean, curved glass moments after a jammy first sip… sooooo satisfying. And, lately, rare.
[5] Who is someone you want to connect more with this month? How might you go about doing this? Actors. TAC Shop — a work in progress, building on concepts explored in THE LOOK.
