Conviction
Embracing the life you imagined
What is there to gain by living your life fearing rather than finding something bigger to embrace and believe in? For even the greatest of men, the bravest, most powerful women are nothing apart from faith in something

Ever notice how every great story has an overcomer? An altruistic hero or heroine who rises above, despite the odds?
They all have one thing in common: they’re motivated by conviction.
Simply put, a conviction is a deeply held belief.
Humans are driven by conviction. It’s what gets us out of bed in the morning. What spurs us to achieve, overcome hindrances, shed comforts. We’ll even walk away from love before forsaking our personal conviction.
It’s that powerful.
So, as you’re reading this, as you consider this month’s Being Known writing prompt…Dare to imagine, I challenge you to consider your own convictions.
Ask yourself…
- What shaped your beliefs? What are you putting your faith in?
- What choices have you made as a result?
- Is your life unfolding as you imagined?
- If not, what’s holding you back?
Perhaps embracing your personal conviction(s) is the key to unlocking a life greater than you dare to imagine!
