Consistency is key with affirmations

I absolutely love affirmations — Positive statements that you can say to yourself.
As a mindset coach, I’ve had hundreds of people tell me that affirmations don’t work for them.
There can be various reasons why this may be true for that person but what I want to talk about today is consistency.
“If someone tells you that you’re no good at something enough, you start to believe them!”
Unfortunately, this is true for many people.
However, when you consistently feed positive, helpful messages (affirmations) to yourself, then over time you start to believe those messages instead.
By consistency, I don’t mean that at 7 am daily you write your chosen affirmations 10 times.
What I mean is over time, keep filling your mind with positive messages that support you, any time of the day, several times each day for days, weeks, months… Make these messages new beliefs for yourself.
