Consider Me for the Dep Book Project

It’s everything I love to write about!

Let’s get the credentials out of the way, first. I’ve written over 400 articles on Medium, including a daily article for The Daily Cuppa for months now. So, you know I can follow through on the commitment to write an article a month.

I’m also the author of the book ROAR: Overcome Obstacles in Three Simple Steps. It was very well received by the mental health community, as offering practical advice and a science-based system that would actually work. So, you know I have something of value to offer your readers.

Here’s what really matters

There are lots of writers who are dependable and produce information-rich content. What makes me different?

From the other authors who write on your publication, possibly not much. From authors in general, quite a bit.

You see, I firmly believe in the power of positive action.

Positive thoughts are good and lead to a happier environment. But imagining rainbows and unicorns all day won’t change your circumstances. For that, you need positive actions. They don’t have to be big. They just have to move you forward.

So, my long-form article writing is slanted toward giving the reader positive takeaways. I don’t want the reader merely to feel better about themselves and their environment by reading one of my articles. I want to empower them to actually make improvements to themselves and their environment.

I’m also not in the airy-fairy woo-woo camp. I believe in the power of manifestation, sure. I use it in my own life all the time. But I can also tell you which parts of your brain you’re activating when you take the various steps. This helps you understand why you’re doing something, as well as how to be sure you’re doing it correctly, with the greatest chance of getting the result you desire.

I write to inform, but also to encourage. And because we all have those days when nothing seems to go the way we plan, I also write to entertain.

I don’t have all the answers, but I have a great attitude. So even if the reader gets nothing else from my articles, I hope some of that rubs off.

Gratitude

I want to acknowledge Dr. Preeti Singh for her article which helped me to find out about this project.

And, of course, I am grateful to Lady Dr. Gabriella Korosi, Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles, and Sharing Randomly for taking on this project to bring a book like this into the world. Even if I’m not selected as one of the writers, I will greatly enjoy reading the insights of the excellent authors who are selected.

While I’m at it, thank you to Dancing Elephants Press for bringing so many of the authors I love to read together in one place!
