Conform
Our lives are so delicate, yet we have become so negligent
We are given false hope from the day we enter this darkened despair Our eyes wide open as we take that first breath of fresh air We look at our surroundings, our memories of being within our mothers fade slowly yet quickly We live on the edge with this pool of innocence But a wave comes crashing down destroying us into pieces We are set to conform to this society we believe is right But is the belief really the religion? Is this our way at grasping the light?
We speak of humanity and morality like we all have it Yet, we are inhuman to ourselves Disgusting thoughts about how we appear to others begin to surface Insecurity rises as we begin to lose our purpose Someone, please help us before we begin to worsen Our lives are so delicate Yet, we have become so negligent As we are all just looking for an escape to pass time Until the day we die
