Confess All: Stuck in the lift with a Sexy Priest

Newsletter & Prompt #3: Provocative revelations are shared when an elevator breaks down...

I ran for the lift and just made it as the doors closed.

“Where to?”

Oh… my heart fluttered slightly as I looked over at a very handsome middle-aged man. But the kind that are out of bounds even if you are at your physical peak, like me. Let me put it this way — he was wearing a cassock and dog collar… I was in the lift with a catholic priest.

“Top floor, please,” I replied.

“Same as me… On my way to heaven, you see.” He smiled, showing his dimples off to perfection.

I tried not to laugh and looked down at the floor when there was the most aggravating noise — like nails running down a blackboard but ten times as loud. And suddenly the lift came to a shuddering halt, propelling me across the small space and into his arms.

He held on to me until the lift seemed to have stabilised. Making sure I was OK, he then used the emergency phone to alert security of our predicament.

“Yes, yes, I can assure you we will remain calm.” The priest turned to me and said, “We’ve been advised to sit down and not rock the boat, so to speak. Doesn’t sound good, so we better do as they say.”

We sat in the middle of the floor space. The priest had begun to sweat. I was pleased he hadn’t shared all the details with me regarding what was wrong with the elevator.

“Well, if we are going to die, I suppose at least I have you to confess my sins to.” It was a joke. Maybe a bad one, but I’m of the opinion that if you state the elephant in the room, then it often helps.

But he answered, “I doubt you have sinned as much as I.” He leaned forward taking both my hands into his shaky palms. “ I need to confess to Jesus Christ, right now… just in case. I am sorry you will be witness to my admission.”

He pulled some rosary beads from his pocket and looked upwards…

“Lord, I beg for your absolution. Every weekend for the past two years I have gone to Felicity Coniston’s bed and repeatedly broken my celibacy vow. I am weak. Flesh and blood. When she pushes her body up against mine, need takes over, and I impale her with my manhood — self-sacrifice furthest from my mind. If my life ends today, I implore you to consider the good work I have done in the parish and take me into your kingdom above.”

He stopped.

My mouth opened in astonishment.

“I am sorry to shock you, my child.” He said, looking calmer now he had confessed.

“Bloody right, you shocked me Father!” I practically shouted. “Felicity Coniston is my grandma, goodness knows what granddad will say when I tell him what’s been going on while he’s at the bingo.”

Write in any genre — erotic, supernatural, fantasy, sci-fi, or a mixture of more than one. Just make sure it is tantalizing and includes being stuck in a lift.

Here’s one I prepared earlier, which may give you some inspiration:

Thank you for your wonderful stories so far…

Stats

I don’t concentrate too much on our statistics, because they can become skewed if one of our stories goes viral. However, over the last 30 days we have not had one — and on average the publication is getting a read time of just below 700 minutes per day, with on average 220 daily visitors. It would appear that if a person comes to the magazine, they read more than one story.

Here are a selection of our most popular stories for May and June:

This Girl’s First Threesome #1: The Couple at the Party by Outrepen— this story went viral during May & has 2.7k views…

A Day in the Life of a thirty-year-old Virgin by May More — this story currently has 634 views…

I’m his Slutty Window Display by Posy Churchgate — at present on 336 views…

Ruling The Ruler by Marie A. Rebelle — with current views at 246…

News

Serials: Marc Stevens is taking a break from his excellent sexy spy series — Psylons.

Moving forward: This got Posy and me thinking. We have hosted some amazing serials, where one part follows from the last, plot wise. However, because many readers come to this publication for a short read or simply dive in now and then, we think it will be wise to limit this kind of series to 5 parts, each of 3500 words or less.

If you have a longer serial (over 5 episodes), then we recommend going to a publication especially for long reads, such as Serial Stories curated by Marie A. Rebelle.

At present, Serial Stories is hosting a 14 parter of mine. Marie will schedule each episode for the same time every week, and you will also have a laptop feature page dedicated to it. We just do not have the room to do that on Tantalizing Tales anymore.

However… if you currently have a series with us that is still ongoing, then we are happy to continue with it for as long as you would like. Any questions please ask…

Also, serials that are episodic — where each chapter is a stand-alone story — are welcome to be as many parts as you want to submit.

Here are the general submission guidelines…

Thank you to all the readers and writers for making Tantalizing Tales the success it is.
