Competition or Collaboration, what would you choose?
Competition brings out the best in Products, what about People?

The dictionary definition of competition suggests that it is the activity or condition of striving to gain or win something by defeating or establishing superiority over others.
The first time you hear the term ‘defeat’, does it ring a bell of negativity? Well, it did to me. However, changing its context truly achieves great results. For example, I defeated my fear of public speaking by putting myself in an uncomfortable situation. Now that sounds like a mountain of positivity.
Nevertheless, ‘competition’, in order to unleash creativity and innovation, tends to be healthy over unethical behaviours. The “feeling” created by the sense of competition depends on the psychological and physiological safety of individuals. For example, taking credit for your colleague's work vs giving credit to your colleague for their support with a piece of work. The former sows the seeds of toxicity, while the latter germinates into a collaborative space for individuals to thrive.
