Companies, Brands, and Products I’ve Found Are Worth The Money.
Too many corporations aren’t being held accountable for their terrible practices.
There’s, however, one thing that can be done right now to stop funding them — that is to stop funding them literally. Take your hard-earned money elsewhere.
That said, here is a list of products and brands I’ve been using for a while that use safe ingredients, are fair-market trade, and are less harmful to your health and the environment.
Always do your due diligence and figure out if these products are a good match for your needs.
I’m not sponsored or affiliated with any of these companies. These are all my recommendations.
Further Food.
Further Food is a supplement company more widely known for its collagen products.
My favorite is the Matcha Collagen Powder. I drink this every morning after breakfast, and it’s the only collagen supplement I’ve noticed a difference with.
My skin looks youthful, my nails are stronger, and my hair is softer and shinier.
I do other things to care for my face, skin, and nails, but part of it also has to do with what I supplement with.
I love this product because it’s made only from 3 simple and effective ingredients, nothing more.
Shea Moisture.
Shea Moisture is a body, face, and hair brand. Their primary market is women, but I recommend men use their products too.
They are a B-certified corporation; they are cruelty-free, use fair trade, ethically sourced, and sustainable ingredients.
Their products are made without parabens, mineral oil, petrolatum, and other ingredients known to cause harm or discomfort commonly found in other similar products.
I’ve used their products for years, initially for only my hair, but now I’ve extended to their face moisturizers and soap bars, and now I can’t go back.
Standard Process.
Standard Process is a whole food supplement company recommended by my holistic doctor.
I have been using a few of their supplements regularly for the past three months, and they work wonderfully.
They’ve helped me get rid of my stomach upsets and improve my digestion, energy levels, sleep, bladder function, and more.
I recommend getting these supplements and any vitamin you take and their dosage administered using the expertise of a holistic doctor.
My holistic doctor can do what I can’t: figure out the right vitamins and supplements and their dosage for my body and my needs.
Here’s Why Most of Us Won't Heal.
If we don't take this seriously, the cost is our lives.

Dr. Bronner’s.
Dr. Bronner’s manufactures 100% pure Castille soap.
Castille soap has become my go-to house cleaner since learning about all the toxic ingredients in almost every household cleaning product.
I’ve stopped using air fresheners, regular dish soap, bar soap, Clorox, Windex, etc. Almost every cleaner out there can be replaced with Castille soap.
I also recommend subbing other cleaning products with baking soda and vinegar. Their cleaning power is fantastic, and I think there’s nothing safer to use if you’ve got pets or little ones.
Organic Valley.
I’ve learned that consuming organic, grass-fed milk in its many forms is best.
Whether you’re a milk drinker or prefer just cheese, make sure it comes from grass-fed, antibiotic-free, hormone-free cows.
Organic Valley has become my go-to for dairy products because of this.
Boba Tea protein.
I struggle to get enough protein in daily.
At first, I was attracted to this company and its products because of their Boba-inspired flavors. I love boba tea, but it’s got so much sugar, and who knows what other artificial ingredients, so I don’t consume it very often.
But I was almost sold at the idea of having a protein shake that tasted like Boba.
I became sold when I saw the list of ingredients. They use grass-fed verified whey protein, which means they source their protein from grass-fed cows — the healthiest cows.
Now I’m hooked. I love this protein powder, its range of flavors, and its taste.
Wholesome.
Wholesome is a fair-trade pantry item line. I’ve used their Organic cane sugar, and I’m currently using their organic coconut sugar for anything sweet.
There’s nothing else to say besides their ingredients being of good quality and fair trade. They’re made from one or two simple ingredients, and that’s it — I love it.
Simple Mills.
Simple Mills has items like crackers, cookies, pancakes, and muffin mixes, and the best part is they are all made from ingredients you can pronounce and trace back to their source.
Nothing on the ingredients label on a Simple Mills product that you can’t pronounce or was made in a lab.
No synthetic ingredients, only real food — this is why I give them my recommendation.
Molly’s Suds.
Molly’s Suds is one of my latest finds when looking to switch laundry detergents.
They use non-toxic ingredients that work on old-school washing machines and high-efficiency ones.
They have a range of detergent products. So far, I’ve tried their Laundry Powder ultra-concentrated detergent and Oxygen Whitener powder, and I like them.
They’re both unscented, which I prefer since I have a sensitive nose. They do offer scented laundry detergent if that’s your preference.
Imperfect Foods/Misfits Market.
Perhaps this my favorite find and one that I will never switch unless they become a greedy corporation.
Imperfects Foods and Misfits Market recently merged — they are a subscription-based grocery delivery service, but unlike other subscription services, there’s no sign-up cost or membership fee.
You only have to register online. That’s it.
They save food from being thrown away when grocery stores don’t accept produce and other products that have imperfections or don’t meet their beauty standards.
Yes, grocery stores have beauty standards, and thousands of pounds of produce and other food products get thrown out daily because of it.
These companies deliver groceries to your door once per week.
They have a wide selection of items, and I love that with this subscription service, I can buy exactly what I need for the week. I’ve reduced my waste because of this.
I’ve also saved a good chunk of money for a few reasons — they have discounts on various products, I do not have to drive to the grocery store, and I buy exactly what I need, not going overboard purchasing a bunch of stuff I don’t consume that I end up having to throw out because it expired.
I hope these recommendations are helpful!
As I become more knowledgable of other products that are worth the money I will make more lists like this one.
