Clear Stuck Energy to Live in Joy
How to remove roadblocks for success

“Life is energy and, as such, it belongs to all, reaches all, and blesses all.” ― Donna Goddard, The Love of Devotion
As the new year began, my to-do list began to grow. Although I am excited by my forward momentum, I want to clear out some stuck energy in my home and spirit.
Going for a walk in our back garden, I noticed some bright green leaves poking up from a pile of dead leaves. As I lovingly cleared away the debris, it reminded me of my house.
With those leaves out of the way, the daffodil has room to grow and soar. So it is with human beings. At times, we must clear away what is no longer serving us in the season to have space to create our dreams.

I began to ponder the boxes of recycling to organize, the bags of things to take to charity, and many things to go through and tidy from last year. All of those are creating physical and mental roadblocks to my forward motion.
This week I decided to clear my calendar on Wednesday and have an energy clearing session in my home. Upbeat music, scented candles, and a free day to tackle it will help me clear the way.

Here are three tips for you to clear the energy in your home.
Create A Map
I like to start a home clearing right by the front door. It is where the energy comes in. I look in the front cabinet, closet and keep working my way towards the opposite end of the room.
I keep bags or boxes nearby to store items I wish to give away. You can also have a bag for recycling.
You can draw a quick map of each floor of your home or each room. It will help you see where you may need to declutter.

Create a Checklist
You can list all the areas to check and errands to do. You may need to make a trip to a charity shop or recycling center. For example, I need to drop off plastic bags, air pillows, and bottles and cans.
Other things on your list may include clearing extra files or photos from your phone or laptop. Having memory and space on your devices eliminates roadblocks.

Set A Timer
A timer is your best friend. Make sure it is loud enough so you will hear it. I love to set timers for short periods, such as fifteen to thirty minutes. Then, take a short five-minute break.
You will be amazed how much you can accomplish in a focused 15-minute sprint. It is magical how time works for you when you dedicate yourself to a task.
